About DAR
Julius Nyerere International Airport is the largest airport in Tanzania, serving the commercial capital Dar es Salaam. Named after the country's founding father, the airport has three terminals including the modern Terminal 3 opened in 2019 for international flights. It serves as the main gateway for tourists heading to Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, and Tanzania's safari destinations.
