Why "DEN"?
DEN comes from Denver. The airport opened in 1995 replacing the old Stapleton International Airport (which had code DEN originally reassigned).

Jeppesen Terminal (Great Hall)
The iconic main terminal with its white tent-like roof resembling the Rocky Mountains. Houses check-in, baggage claim, and ground transportation. Currently undergoing Great Hall renovation.
Concourse A
Connected to the main terminal via underground train. Primarily serves United Airlines with some other carriers.
Concourse B
The largest concourse and hub for United Airlines operations. Connected via underground train. Features the famous gargoyle sculptures.
Concourse C
Serves mainly Southwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines. Features newer dining and shopping options.
