About DMK
Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is one of the world's oldest operating airports, first opened in 1914. Located north of Bangkok, it serves as the main hub for low-cost carriers in Thailand. After the opening of Suvarnabhumi Airport in 2006, Don Mueang was briefly closed but reopened in 2007 to handle the growing budget airline traffic. Today it is one of the busiest low-cost airports in the world, serving airlines like AirAsia, Nok Air, and Thai Lion Air.
