About GMP
Gimpo International Airport (GMP) was Seoul's main international gateway until Incheon Airport opened in 2001. Located much closer to central Seoul, Gimpo now primarily handles domestic flights and select international routes to Tokyo Haneda, Osaka Kansai, Shanghai Hongqiao, Taipei Songshan, and Beijing Capital. Its proximity to the city center and excellent metro connections make it highly convenient for travelers.
