About SKG
Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" is the second-largest airport in Greece, serving the country's co-capital and the wider region of Central Macedonia. Located 15 km southeast of the city center on the coast of the Thermaic Gulf, the airport handles over 8 million passengers annually. It is a hub for Aegean Airlines and a base for Ryanair and Sky Express. A major terminal expansion and renovation project has modernized the facilities significantly.
