Iconic flat-topped mountain with cable car and the beautiful Camps Bay beach on the Atlantic Seaboard.

About Table Mountain / Camps Bay

Table Mountain is one of the New7Wonders of Nature and Cape Town\'s defining landmark, its distinctive flat summit rising 1,085 meters above the city. The revolving aerial cableway carries visitors to the top in just five minutes, revealing 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island, the Cape Flats, and the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range. The summit plateau has walking trails through unique fynbos vegetation found nowhere else on Earth, including over 1,500 plant species.

Camps Bay, nestled between the Twelve Apostles and the Atlantic Ocean at the mountain\'s western base, is Cape Town\'s most glamorous beach strip. The palm-lined promenade along Victoria Road is lined with upscale restaurants and cocktail bars facing one of the world\'s most beautiful sunset views. The beach itself has white sand and cold Atlantic water backed by massive granite boulders. The neighborhood of Bakoven and the secluded Beta Beach are nearby for a quieter experience.
