Perth's stunning hilltop park with panoramic city views, wildflowers, and the State War Memorial.
About Kings Park & Botanic Garden
The Western Australian Botanic Garden within Kings Park showcases the extraordinary diversity of Western Australia's native flora, which is one of the world's biodiversity hotspots. Over 3,000 plant species from WA's wildflower regions are displayed, and in spring (September-November), the park bursts with colorful wildflower displays that are internationally renowned. The DNA Tower — a double-helix staircase inspired by DNA structure — offers panoramic views from its 15-meter summit.
The park's Federation Walkway is a 620-meter elevated canopy walk through the eucalyptus treetops, providing a bird's-eye perspective of the bushland and city skyline. The State War Memorial and Eternal Flame occupy a prominent position on the escarpment. The Botanic Garden also features the Lotterywest Federation Walkway, Aboriginal cultural interpretation trails, and several excellent cafes and restaurants with some of Perth's best views.
