Warsaw's largest and most beautiful park with the Palace on the Isle, Chopin monument, and free Sunday concerts in summer.

About Łazienki Royal Park

Lazienki Royal Park is Warsaw's most beautiful green space—a 76-hectare landscape garden created in the 17th century as a royal bathhouse retreat and expanded into a grand summer residence by Poland's last king, Stanislaw August Poniatowski. The neoclassical Palace on the Isle (Palac na Wyspie), reflected in the surrounding lake, is the park's centerpiece and one of Warsaw's most iconic images.

The park also houses the Chopin Monument—the world's most recognized depiction of the composer—where free outdoor piano concerts are held every Sunday from May to September, drawing hundreds of listeners to the surrounding rose garden. Other highlights include the Old Orangery with its 18th-century royal theatre, the Myslewicki Palace, and a White House (Bialy Domek). Peacocks roam freely, red squirrels dart between ancient oaks, and the park provides a serene contrast to the modern city surrounding it.
