About BOS

New England busiest airport located on Boston Harbor with excellent public transit access.

Why "BOS"?

BOS stands for Boston, the capital of Massachusetts and the largest city in New England. The airport is named after Lt. General Edward Lawrence Logan, a prominent Boston military leader. Located in East Boston on Boston Harbor, it is one of the closest major airports to a US city center.
