About CCU
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) serves Kolkata, the cultural capital of eastern India. Originally known as Dum Dum Airport, it was renamed in honor of the Indian independence leader. The modern integrated terminal opened in 2013 features a distinctive curved roof inspired by the traditional Bengali hut. CCU handles both domestic and international flights and serves as a gateway to Northeast India, Bangladesh, and Southeast Asia.
