Insider Tips
The airport is far from BH city center (38 km) — plan accordingly. The Conexao Aeroporto executive bus service is the best value option ($10, comfortable, Wi-Fi). Uber/99 are much cheaper than official taxis. Belo Horizonte is famous for pao de queijo (cheese bread), craft beer, and the best bar scene in Brazil. If connecting to historic towns like Ouro Preto, consider renting a car rather than going through BH.
