Fukuoka Airport (FUK) is one of Japan's busiest airports and famously one of the closest major airports to a city center in the world โ just two subway stops from Hakata Station. Serving the vibrant city of Fukuoka on the island of Kyushu, the airport handles both domestic and international flights. Its incredible convenience, combined with Fukuoka's reputation as Japan's street food capital, makes it a favorite among travelers.
