About OTP
Henri Coanda International Airport is Romania's busiest airport, located 16.5 km north of Bucharest city center in Otopeni. Serving over 14 million passengers annually, it is the main hub for TAROM and a base for Wizz Air and Blue Air. The airport features a single modern terminal building that was extensively renovated and expanded in 2012. Named after Romanian aviation pioneer Henri Coanda, inventor of the jet engine, the airport offers connections to over 100 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
