Prague's historic center near Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and the Astronomical Clock.
About Prague City Center (Staroměstská)
The Old Town seamlessly connects to other historic quarters. Cross the iconic Charles Bridge — a 14th-century stone bridge adorned with 30 Baroque statues — and you enter the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) with its palace gardens and charming streets leading up to Prague Castle. The Jewish Quarter (Josefov), with its hauntingly beautiful synagogues and the Old Jewish Cemetery, lies just north of the Old Town Square.
Prague's cultural life is extraordinary for a city of its size. The Estates Theatre, where Mozart premiered Don Giovanni in 1787, still performs opera. The labyrinthine streets reveal hidden courtyards, jazz clubs, craft beer pubs, and centuries-old beer halls. The city's café culture, influenced by its Habsburg past, thrives in places like Café Slavia and Café Imperial.

Late Night Transport
Bus 119 runs until about 11:30 PM, after which night bus 910 serves the airport route (every 30 min). Night trams and buses in Prague operate an excellent all-night network. Luggage Tips
Bus 119 can be crowded during peak tourist season — larger bags take up space needed by other passengers. The Airport Express bus has luggage storage underneath and is more comfortable with bags. Prague's cobblestoned Old Town streets are challenging with wheeled luggage. The metro has escalators but few elevators.
Accessibility
PRG airport is fully accessible. Bus 119 has low-floor wheelchair access. Metro Line A stations including Staroměstská have mixed accessibility — some stations lack elevators (check DPP website). Prague's cobblestone streets are difficult for wheelchairs. The Airport Express bus to the main station has better accessibility.
