Naples International Airport, also known as Capodichino Airport, is the main airport serving Naples and the Campania region of southern Italy. Located just 6 km northeast of Naples city center, it provides convenient access to iconic destinations including the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Capri, and Mount Vesuvius. The airport has seen rapid growth in recent years, handling over 12 million passengers annually, with a mix of traditional and low-cost carriers. A single modern terminal was renovated in 2010 with improved facilities and artwork celebrating Neapolitan culture.

Getting There & Away
Alibus express bus connects to Napoli Centrale train station and the port in 15-20 minutes for EUR 5. Official fixed-rate taxis cost EUR 19-23 to city center locations. The Campania Express and regional trains connect from Napoli Centrale to Pompeii, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast.
