About PMI
Spain third-busiest airport on the island of Mallorca, popular with European tourists.
Why "PMI"?
PMI comes from Palma de Mallorca International. The city name Palma dates to Roman times, and Mallorca means larger island in Latin (from Major Insula), distinguishing it from Menorca.
Terminals
Module A
Handles domestic and inter-island flights. Directly accessible from the main terminal hall. Smaller and more compact than other modules.
Module B
Handles Schengen international flights. One of the busiest modules especially during summer season with charter and scheduled flights.
Module C
Handles Schengen flights, primarily from UK and Northern Europe. Very busy in summer season.
Module D
Handles non-Schengen and overflow Schengen flights. Includes passport control facilities for non-EU routes.
